WE WANT YOU TO VOLUNTEER

Volunteering at the Lewis County Historical Museum is a rewarding experience to leave your mark on history! The help of volunteers ensures that we can maintain the museum but also to expand and provide new and exciting programs.

Volunteer with us

Volunteering is the easiest and most rewarding way to leave your mark on your community. Bring history alive to guests and visitors as you work in our Docent Program. You can assist in the preservation of the thousands of records and antiquities under our care. No matter what your interest is, we can match up a perfect job for you!! If you like history and learning new things WE WANT YOU at the Lewis County Historical Museum!!! After we receive your application we match your interests and skills with volunteer opportunities. We will create a work schedule tailored to both our needs and provide an initial orientation, training, and support throughout your involvement at the museum.

Each year we honor the contributions of an outstanding volunteer with the Volunteer of the Year Award. We would like to thank Heather Beaird as the recipient of the 2014 Volunteer of the year for her dedicated service to the history of Lewis County!

ONE PERSON REALLY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Applications can be download here: Volunteer Application, or picked up at the museum. Please fill out the application and contact the director at 360-748-0831 or by email at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you at the Museum!
